View our collection of baby outfits, available for Motherhood portrait sessions!

Preparing for a session can be somewhat difficult for the busy mum so I have sourced some beautiful rompers which are specifically designed for babies between 6-12 months old!

Having these beautiful outfits in the studio, not only makes your job easier when preparing for the session, but also allows us to style and coordinate perfectly with our range of silks.

What to expect?

Sessions take 1-2 hours and are held in my comfy studio where it is safe for your baby to have their portraits taken.

When is it best to book?

We will book for when your baby is between 6-9 months, when they can sit on their own, unsupported. This way we can capture some portraits of the baby on their own too.

My promise…

I promise to ensure that your baby is kept warm, comfortable and safe in the studio at all times.

All products used, are carefully washed/cleaned thoroughly to ensure a clean, hygienic and germ-free environment.

Accidents happen on a regular basis so please do not panic if your baby decides to use my backdrop or blankets as his/her personal potty. It is totally normal and expected at some point during the session!

Preparation:

If you are looking to purchase something specific, a neutral colour scheme tends to look best throughout a gallery and I always advise that you avoid strong colours and busy patterns/logos.

Otherwise, I have a beautiful range of rompers for you to pick from!

What to bring?

Please bring along is a spare nappy, change of clothes and drink/snack for your baby. It may also help to bring their favourite toy to help comfort and distract them at the beginning of the session.

Some babies are super shy so we don’t rush. We will take time to ensure to capture their personality!

What to wear?

I have amazing pure silk in various colours available to add a unique touch to your gallery.

Please wear/bring along nude strapless bra and matching G-string knickers to enable silk posing. If you have something pretty that you would like to wear also, feel free to bring that set along.

Makeup-

I recommend having it done by a professional makeup artist because the camera tends to expose flaws that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

Professional makeup artists are trained in contouring the face, colour matching and accentuating your best features.

I repair an extensive range of problems during my postproduction techniques though for a flawless complexion, it is best to have a professional do it for you.

Besides, makeup makes you feel good and leads to greater confidence during your session!

Hair-

Sometimes hair can look dull and flat so if you want that extra polished look, have a hairdresser style your locks…

They use premium products to control any imperfection and are able to frame your face perfectly.

If you decide to do it yourself though, just ensure to control any frizz, add products & create some volume.

An up-style or full bodied-curls are usually a client’s go-to look!

Nails-

Please keep it simple! Avoid strong colours as this causes quite a distraction. Neutral colours work perfectly.
