The Client Experience…

How has your experience been with JC imagery and would you recommend Jodi to friends?

I’ve had a fantastic experience! Jodi has such a relaxing space, where she made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Having photos done can be awkward but because Jodi made me feel at ease, I have already recommended her to friends!

How did you feel about finding a photographer?

I did a lot of research, looking through websites and Facebook pages. Once I found JC Imagery and saw her maternity portfolio, I made the decision to book right away!

Is there a story surrounding your pregnancy? Was it a breeze or did your little one make you work for it?

We have come on a very long journey… It took 6 years and 4 failed IVF attempts before I became pregnant. We experienced lots of ups and downs but finally, our little miracle happened!

Did you find out whether you were having a boy or a girl? Or did you keep it a total surprise?

We found out that we were having a girl at 12-weeks. I was over the moon because I have always wanted a baby girl!

How did you feel when you saw your gallery for the first time?

I cried! I wasn’t expecting to love every single image! I found it so difficult to make the selections!

Tell me your favourite stores that you are obsessed with for maternity wear.

To be completely honest, Darwin isn’t great for maternity wear options. I was so lucky to get a lot from my family and friends!

Did you prepare the baby’s nursery in advance or wing it last minute?

We are still building her room now but it should be ready in a few months. For now, she’ll stay in our room until it is completed.

Do you have any tips for expecting mums?

Don’t be too hard on yourself with your changing pregnancy body, once your baby arrives, you will miss it! I’m so glad that I have my maternity photos to look back on!
