How has your experience been with JC imagery and how did Jodi make you feel?

Our experience was fantastic! Jodi is nice, patient, caring and so careful with our little one. Jodi was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable in her studio

What was the highlight of your session?

Watching how Jodi carefully put our baby into all different positions to create such amazing photos! And the conversations were great, she’s good fun

To capture the most precious time in our life… Her work is amazing!

Is there a story surrounding your pregnancy? Was it a breeze or did your little one make you work for it?

My pregnancy was quite good but I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 26 weeks. Thankfully stayed diet controlled for the remainder of my pregnancy

Was the gender of your baby a surprise?

We couldn’t wait and received the news at the 20-week scan… My partner and I both wanted a boy first and that’s what we got!

Naming…

We liked the name Mitchell for a while, even before we were pregnant. We did have a list of names just in case but when we saw him for the first time, we knew straight away that it was the right hoice.

How far in advance did you prepare the nursery?

We started to prepare the nursery months before he was even born… Even started a little before we got pregnant… I couldn’t help myself! I was too excited 🙂

Do you have any advice for expecting mums?

Don’t go overboard buying too much stuff to start with! You might be surprised at how much you don’t actually use and people buy you things anyway.

Do you have any tips and tricks for parents adjusting to parenthood in those early days?

Mums and dads – You are now a tag team! Help each other, learn from each other, be the best you can be and don’t be afraid to ask for help! Trust your instincts and if you think something is wrong, speak up. No question is a silly question! And mums, get yourselves some lanolin nipple cream haha…
