Capturing love and laughter | JC imagery

This beautiful family were really fun, capturing so much love and laughter… We created these images at Howard Springs Pine Forest during sunset so that we could capture the sun through the trees whilst the kids play. It’s so magical!

I found Jodi’s website through Instagram. I have been following her work for some time and saw that she had recently opened her schedule to family sessions so I made a booking straight away.

The Importance of Family Photos

Family photos are so important. Even though the thought of having a session made us nervous, I’m glad we put all those feelings aside and booked in anyway.

Our kids are growing up so fast and we want to remember them at this time before it’s too late. It’s only now that I’ve realised how precious this time really is.

I am glad that we chose to have our photos taken in the forest, I prefer the darker look compared to the beach etc. It really suits our home and style too.

What we received

We had our photos printed with Jodi’s professional lab. It doesn’t make sense to me to have nice photos taken then print in low quality. Defeats the purpose in my opinion.

We received lots of amazing prints in our linen box but I also ordered a huge canvas and hung it in the hall entrance! The quality is outstanding, more than I ever expected.

I love that as soon as you walk in the door, it’s right there! All our friends and family have commented on how beautiful it is too! My youngest is so sweet, he shows it to all our guests.

Our thoughts…

If you have been thinking about a session but the thought makes you nervous. Try to put those feelings to rest and trust Jodi. Once you start talking to her, you will feel 100% better with the process.

Before our session, I didn’t have any nice photos of me with the kids (because I am always the one taking them). It made me sad to think that my kids wouldn’t have any nice pictures to remember us, should anything ever happen! I want them to see how much we love them!

Your babies will be all grown up before you know it so make it a priority, have a session and be in the photos. You wont regret it!
