There is so much out there for babies so it can be hard to decide on the perfect item, but this blog will give you a few ideas that will not only be appreciated but really practical too!

Clothes!

I cannot stress enough how important this one is! Babies grow so fast in those few weeks (and some spit up too) so it’s great to have enough on hand.

Try not to buy 0000 as most mums will already have those sizes and have nothing to use in the following months. So look for 3m + and consider the season too.

Simple zippies are amazing and lots of layers/singlets!

Nappies and Wipes!

This one is a no-brainer! New parents will experience many poo explosions so nappies/cloth nappies and wipes are definitely something that will be used.

Some babies have sensitive skin too so keep this in mind when making your selection.

Baby Carrier or Wrap

During the first few weeks, newborns love to be warm, safe and in close contact with mamma so baby carriers/wraps are a lifesaver when we have jobs to do.

Food delivery

This one is the most thoughtful in my eyes. Parents are tired, exhausted and not in any mood to cook and may not even have time! So to ensure that they are well nourished, food delivery is really convenient.

Pram Fan

Newborns are unable to regulate their body temperature so in the summertime, a pram fan will ensure adequate circulation when mamma is out and about.

Something for mum to be!

This one is most important and always forgotten! By the time of the baby shower, mamma is most likely in her 3rd trimester and exhausted.

Before her new arrival is here, why not gift her something so that she can pamper herself?

This can be a massage/spa voucher, face/belly mask or night away. You know what she likes so pick something you know she’ll use.
